Bomar was the only Senior Bowl QB who was willing to take chances in practice and fire the ball downfield.  Everyone else seemed more scared of making a turnover than showing their skills, but Bomar threw some eye-popping darts.  His easy motion delivers a deceptively fast pass, and he can make all the throws.

Bomar was knocked out of OU by an off-campus job scandal, and his only game against Texas left him a disheveled mess.  These are causes for concern.  But neither are total red flags, and in the late rounds, you won’t find many QBs with his tools.  Nice developmental pick.
