Best Players Left Entering the Sixth Round
by Sigmund Bloom on 04/26/09Virginia RB Cedric Peerman - High character, versatile, clutch leader on and off the field.
Liberty RB Rashad Jennings - Big and strong enough to be a power back, but one who is light on his feet with good hands in the passing game.
Clemson WR Aaron Kelly - A big rangy wideout with good hands and better agility and speed than advertised.
Cal LB Zach Follett - Follett plays angry and he has killer instinct even if he’s not the biggest or fastest OLB
LSU LB Darry Beckwith - Stout MLB who did well against the toughest competition - the SEC
Nebraska OT Lydon Murtha - Extremely athletic OT who could be a major steal if he stays healthy and develops a mean streak
Penn State OT Gerald Cadogan - Athletic swing tackle who will bail a team out if one of their starters goes down
Georgia Tech OT Andrew Gardner - If he was bigger, stronger, or more athletic, he would have been gone a long time ago because he plays with great intensity and technique.
Cincinnati CB Mike Mickens - Once considered a first day shutdown corner, but he’s been hurt on and off since late 2008, a steal at this point.
Iowa DT Mitch King - So he’s undersized to play DT in the NFL. He was undersized to play DT in the Big Ten and he tore it up.
